Why This Exists

Human-sourced information is messy. LLMs make it worse by projecting confidence where none exists. Everyone nods along because the output sounds plausible. That’s not good enough when real decisions are on the line.

The question was whether formal reasoning — beyond simple true/false — could cut through that noise and give analysts something they could actually audit. The answer is yes. The underlying ideas trace back over fifteen years since the principal performed graduate research with hundreds of source articles. Academic research relies on understanding data evolution, temporal connections, and multi-source analysis. In early 2026, those threads came together with investigations into multi-valued logic and subjective opinions. SummerEyes is the result: a reasoning engine that treats uncertainty as a first-class citizen and shows its work.
